One translation for the idiomatic expression at arm's length is:

una distancia razonable

I'm not sure what the translation would be when the phrase is used in a more legal sense. For example, how would one translate *an arm's length transaction"? Anyone out there have some ideas?

That's the context I need to know--the legal one. Thanks! - rbuono, Jun 6, 2010
