¿Cómo está ese lindo?
It's a direct question to a person. It's calling the person pretty and asking him at the same time how he is. It could be told to a young boy or to a man. It is usually a South American expression.

It is asking about his health or mood.
I think what they meant to say:
¿Cómo es ese lindo?
(lindo would probably mean "hunk" in this context) For a man you also can use guapo-handsome. Lindo is good looking.)
What is he like? Tall, short, happy, smart?
