how do say 'i know you' to a lady
'i know you'

La conozco. I know her...you [Ud.]...it [the city]
Q, I can see that you are right with her (usted in this case) being the direct object.
Where I got the "le" was based on this pattern:
"Me concoces?" Do you know me?
"Te conozco" I know you.
For some reason, I then I thought it was wrong to move away from my use of the i.o.p. and on to the d.o.p. Specifically, "La concozco" instead of "Le."
"Le conozco, Señora."
I know that you aren't from Spain and we're discussing a female so this is not the leísmo.
I'm trying to figure out why you used an i.o.p. rather than a d.o.p.
From our dictionary entry for conocer:
to meet (a una persona) (por primera vez); to know (desde hace tiempo)
¿conoces a mi jefe? -> do you know o have you met my boss?
- conocer a alguien de vista -> to know somebody by sight
- conocer a alguien de oídas -> to have heard of somebody
¿de qué la conoces? -> how do you know her?
All of those personal "a" 's in the sentences mean that the person is a direct object . Notice the la in the last example; not le.

Hi and welcome to the forum.
I'd say "Le conozco, Señora."
Edit: I'm not sure if it's "La" or "Le" here. Please wait for someone else to come along and either confirm my answer or give the proper translation.
