there is a scar on my leg from a horse accident i had. how do i say in short form "it's from a horseback riding accident" accidente a caballo??

= Es por causa de accidente de equitación

o Es de un accidente de equitación

I don't think I ever met anyone who would have said "a horse accident". "An accident on/with/off a horse" maybe but "a horse accident" sounds like a bad joke.
