Depends on whether you want an informal command (tú) or a formal command. Although there are exceptions (obviously), in general for the informal command you conjucate the verb into its third person singular present tense. For example, hablar would become habla. For the formal command, conjugate the verb into its first person singular present tense, take off the -o and add the opposite ending for the third person singular present tense, so -ar verbs which normally end in -a in the third person, become -e while -er and -ir verbs which normally end in -e end in -a. So for example, poner conjugates into pongo in first person, then drops the o and adds an a, becoming ponga. Confusing, I know.
