How is the word "medio" translated?

I have a document that uses the word "medio" and the way I translate doesn't sound quite right.

Here is the text:

"Por este medio se hace constar que:"

Here is the translation I currently have:

"It is hereby finds that:"

Is there a better way to translate this?
