Both translate as 'way', but is there a difference in the way you use them?

I believe that it's a matter of preference which word is used. Nevertheless, I'm sure there are a few cases where one fits better than the other.
I found some examples online:
Esa no es manera de tratar a sus hijos.
Ese no es modo de tratar a sus hijos.
Esa no es forma de tratar a sus hijos.
Eso no lo vamos a aceptar de ninguna manera.
Eso no lo vamos a aceptar de ningún modo.
Eso no lo vamos a aceptar de ninguna forma.

In this example, I would choose "manera" or "forma", but not "modo". They should have a definite article as well: "Esa no es la manera de tratar a sus hijos." - waltico, Jun 1, 2010
