In Mexico this term is used as a reference toward people that like/love each other, but are constantly arguing. This term extends to many types of relationships, not just couples. For example, a cousin that is always asking for you to visit, but once there all you do is fight, is amor apache. It is also commonly used toward the little boy who hits or pulls the hair of the girl he likes. These are just two examples, but it's used in a much broader context as well ? always being at war with something you like.

Welcome to the Forum!

amor apache is when two people are in love, but they treat each other not so good.
