Una hora como mucho. Said in what else, Star trek. I really don't get this one though. One hour how much. Can someone smarter than me elaborate?

In the SD dictionary: como mucho, -a -> at the most

Maybe if you read it as 'One hour as much/a lot' it would sound a bit better. Though it's not how you'd say it in English, it sort of makes sense that way; at least the meaning sort of comes through. Like, "I'd say one hour as a high mark/guess." I think 'como' is being used in the 'as' sense rather than the 'how' sense, here.

I have to beg off on being someone smarter. I just don't qualify.

I wish I had more dialog on this. This doesn't look like "one hour at most." Perhaps "one hour like any other" or "same old, same old", but if that is what it means, why isn't it "muchas"?
