He is safe
Star trek subs says "Está en salvo" which I find odd. I would have said "está seguro" what do you think? Gracias.

The expression you want in this context is "está a salvo" (he/she is safe) Not " en salvo", which is incorrect.
I would say "está seguro."
Hmm. To me this sounds like "he is saved." I think that this is just one of those things where the exact translation doesn't quite convey the right meaning.

I'd definitely say "Está seguro."
"Está en salvo" sounds like "He is saved/He's been saved."
