por qúe = why (2 separate words)

Porque vas al parque- Because you are going to the park. ¿Por qué vas al parque?- Why are you going to the park? Me gusta cantar porque es divertida- I like to sing because it's fun. ¿Por qué estás triste?- Why are you sad? Notice how Por qué has an accent over the "E" for Why and porque Does Not have an accent meaning because. Accents can change the meanings of the words. For example. Jugo- Juice and Jugó- He/she/ it played (Pretérito or Preterit in English) Hope that helped.
