It looks an awful lot like the thing a proctologist removed from my butt in Sydney after I was hit by a car while I was bent over tying me shoe in the middle of the Victoria midland highway, I think it was called a poo shoo ! no it was called a shoo roo Kangaroo warning whistle for a car.

Tienes Razon Albert!! Bien hecho. It's a "roo-shoo", or a "shoo-roo", or an "animal whistler" or a "deer whistler"". - nonombre, May 30, 2010
I will explain "all" in my last post - lol - nonombre, May 30, 2010
No kangaroos or deer where I live. Only dogs, cats, and chickens. They just run-for-their-lives if at all. :)))) - Rikko, May 30, 2010
Thank god for Alberts! ;))) - Rikko, May 30, 2010

A "shoo-roo" or a "roo-shoo" is a device fitted to the front of a vehicle. It emits a high pitched sound. The intention is to scare away kangaroos and other wild animals to prevent them becoming "roadkill".

Apparently kangaroos us high frequency sounds for warnings of danger and take "avoiding action".

This is my ex-husband's car and he swears by this little device... alt text

Sadly not Rikko. My ex has gone on holies and has lent me his car - I asked him what the "thing" was, he explained it to me and I thought "Now there's a mystery object if ever there was one!" - nonombre, May 30, 2010

Hola Rikko. Pero no solamente para canguros. In los estados unidos este aparato está utilizando para los ciervos. (Not only for kangaroos. In the US this device is used for deer.) - nonombre, May 30, 2010

Pista numero 2.

Este aparato mide tres centímetros. Encontraría este aparato conectado al exterior de un vehículo.

(This device measures 3 centimetres. You would find it mounted on the outside of a vehicle.) alt text**
