Yo tampoco lo creo
I don't believe it either. The very presence of tampoco negates an entire sentence isn't this true?

It negates what has been said.
translation: I don't beieve it either.
To add to what megapyme wrote, tampoco is basically the negative form of también. In this sentence it is like saying "me either" (in some sentences, it would be "me neither").
"No creo que lo haya pasado." "Yo tampoco lo creo."
"I don't believe it has happened." "I don't believe it either."
Here is a definition:
tampoco : adv. neg. Se usa para negar tras otra negación:
e.g. "si él no va al cine,yo tampoco".
Used to negate after another negation.
