While Heidita and Maria have given you the formal way to say this as "Por favor, limpie la cocina."

Here's the informal way you'd speak to friends and family:

"Por favor, limpia la cocina."

Where I've lived it's also customary to use the familiar with servants, maids, etc. - KevinB, May 28, 2010

Por favor, limpie la cocina y el salón de la habitación.

(¿Y mencioné que usted es la mejor sirvienta del mundo?) And did I mention that you are the best servant in the world? lol

Gracias, a veces me falla el coco. Todavía estoy aprendiendo, pero me gusta probar :) - Kiwi-Girl, May 28, 2010
Perhaps, "sala de estar" - --Mariana--, May 28, 2010
Me gusta "falla el coco." What would you say in English? - Delores--Lindsey, May 28, 2010
Lit - the coconut fails me - it's used to mean something like 'my head doesn't work properly' lol - Kiwi-Girl, May 28, 2010
@ Heidita, any help is appreciated so please feel free to correct my Spanish, especially if you can help me to see exactly which bit is wrong, gracias :) - Kiwi-Girl, May 28, 2010
