Theoretically, depending on how fluent that you wish to become. There is no substitute for immersion, however. It's fun to try, no matter what. And there are some that are actually learning Spanish online here...the natives that are forced to learn the grammar of their own language so that they can, in turn, explain it to us.

Yes you can, if you are a total beginner I'd recommend going to "learn Spanish" in the top menu and start with lesson one.
