Do not call this guy late to dinner!I used to swim in this river wondering if alligators could live this far north.

He has an 11 foot stag in his mouth. The law enforcement officer is 6 foot 5 inches tall. I think the alligator was 30 feet long.

Can't you afford to donate an arm or leg to the dinner? (After all, you have two, don't you?). If you wanted to be a hospitable host you would consider it. We need to do everything we can to help these endangered (who is really in danger of extinction...you or him?) species.

I hope Issa won't ask us to put captions on these ones. I find them unnerving. :) - Rikko, May 27, 2010
I think the giant rabbits in Germany would be more fun to write about, or that giant cat she posted - nizhoni1, May 27, 2010
me too Rikko, I also used to swim in Alabama as a child. - billy-jones, May 27, 2010

Oh something just came to mind...

Did anyone else play the children's game..

(Group of children chanting) "Please Mr Crocodile may I cross your dirty river?". (probably more like "Please Mista Crocadile may I cross ya dirtee riva?".

And the "crocodile" would answer "Not unless you have Green!"

The lucky "ones" wearing green would be able to "cross" safely.

The poor sod (not wearing green or whatever) of course would be devoured by the crocodile - mm not a very nice game come to think of it. wink

In Australia we don't have alligators - we have crocodiles.

Our freshwater crocs "freshies" are "relatively" harmless..

Our saltwater crocs "salties" have a fearsome reputation being responsible for numerous deaths including unsuspecting tourists trying to escape the heat of the northern part of our country.

Now funnily enough in our "Northern Territory" - we have an "Alligator River" with no alligators - just crocs.....
