Can somebody explain to me what the past participle is and how to use it? Thank you

Used in forming "perfect" tenses (compounds with 'haber'), passive constructions referring to past events (with "ser") and (with forms of 'estar') as a predicate adjective e.g. "Estoy cansado."

Hi Katie: past participle in Spanish is this form:

spoken = hablado (hablar)

Eaten = comido (comer)
