Dingbats - a word game
I was searching through my emails, and I found this game.
DINGBATS are cunningly disguised names, phrases and sayings that are turned around, upside-down, sideways or jumbled up. You need to work out the hidden word or phrase on each card. It could be the size, position or direction that will give you a clue. Sometimes, the pictures combined with a word or a number will give you your answer.
I thought this might be fun for you all to try
. I have the answers, and I will post them at the weekend.
Good luck! ![alt text][1]
Edit: the numbers go horizonally: 1: CCCCCCC, 2: le/vel, 3. Give Get etc. Please number your answers so I know which ones you are attempting ![]()

My guesses for those number not answered yet:
(4) Without you (6) Lucky break (10) West Indies (19) One in a million (22) There's life after 40
22 Life begins at 40!
19 ... One in a Million!
26 ... Just around the corner.
number 28 = making up for lost time
number 9 = first aid
number 11 = 6 feet under ground
number 14 = reading between the lines
number 15 = crossroads
number 18 = just between you and me
OK...another try for 3: Is it "forgive and forget"?![]()
number 30 = I understand you undertake to undermine my undertaking
This one was tough!
12-- backwards glance
Ok, now that makes more sense! Forgive and Forget (4 Give, 4 Get)
7 could also be: He's beside Himself
Oh, rats! For me, the link you listed didn't work. So, all I saw was your three examples. None of the others were visible. From your answers, it looks like they would have been fun to view. Did anyone else have a problem with the link to the other questions?
