Chaito

A girl wrote to me and signed it "chaito"

is that like goodbye or "ciao"?

Also, she said "no se cuentame de ti"

Does this roughly mean "I don't know your history'"

There are several different spelings... chao (most of Latin America), chau ( I know of at least Argentina, Chile, and Peru), ciao (Spain). Chaito is a diminutive of chao meaning more or less, bye-bye.

About this one, I am not sure.
"no se cuentame de ti"
Was there an accent mark over the e in se?
It looks like it would have been something like, "I don't know, tell me about yourself."
