"Su libro" can mean "his book" (el libro de él), "her book" (el libro de ella), or "your book" (el libro de usted).

"Tu libro" means "your book"

So both "su" and "tu" can mean "your". Use "su" when you're talking to someone you would call "usted" and use "tu" when you're talking to someone you would call "tú".

Usted is more formal (shows more respect). Tú is informal (like for people you're acquainted with). This is also how it is for su and tu respectively.
