How would you say "Pancake batter," or just "batter" in general (such as the food batter).

The word "mezcla" is commonly used for cake batter, so I presume it can also be used for pancake batter. In Mexico "pancakes" are called "hotcakes", so you could say "mezcla para hotcakes".

"Masa" is also used to refer to a mixture of ingredients that needs to be baked, but that seems to refer more to the English word "dough".
