When you say lets (permit) do we conjugate the verb after it?

If you use "let's..." with the verb "dejar" it would conjugate dejar que + subjunctive.

Let him come with me -> "Deja que venga conmigo"

Let us stay longer -> "Deja que nos quedemos más tarde"

No, you would generally use the infinitive for the following verb. Examples:

His teacher did not let him answer the question. Su maestro no le permitió contestar la pregunta.

Her Dad lets her go out in the evenings. Su papá le permite salir en las noches.

Maybe "samdie" can provide an example using the "1st person plural of the present subjunctive".
