Using 2 infinitive verbs together in one sentence?
Sentimos no poder venir mañana.
This sentence I think means "We are sorry we can't come tomorrow." Poder and venir are infinitive but I truly do not understand why? This is a sentence from my workbook and it is the correct form from the answers at the end of the book.

HI fox: sentir and poder work as auxiliaries .
Sentimos llegar tan tarde. Sentimos no poder llegar más temprano. No podemos llegar más temprano.
As both sentir and poder have to go with an infinitive, there are two.
Actually, in English it is the same structure:
We are sorry (sentimos) not to be able (no poder, infinitive like in English) to come (venir, infinitive like in English).
What Heidita said. lol
