Sound Installation

Hello

I have recently worked on a Sound Installation that was exhibited at a museum. I am now writing a document in Spanish about it but am not sure what the correct term for a Sound Installation would be. The literal translation is 'instalación de sonido' but from searching on google this doesn't seem to be the term used.

Sound Installation is really an idiom because it a bit difficult to install sound without installing a system or equipment to create the sound.

Sonora is an adjective, so it still needs to be:

Instalación de sistema de sonido

Instalación de sistema sonoro

Instalación de equipo de sonido

Instalación de equipo sonoro

I looked at the link you gave in wikipedia, copied the text, and then hit "translate". It was translated just as you said : instalación de sonido.
