This is what the dictionary says:
sacar jugo a algo/alguien -> to get the most out of something/somebody (aprovechar)

Sacar = to take out, to draw
Jugo = juice but can also be jugó, he played
So translation can be a bit tricky. Either something like "squeeze juice from it" or "he played stop him". I think a little context would help.
