Does "yop" mean yo?

I just learned that sip is slang for si in Costa Rica, so I was wondering, does anyone know if "yop" slang for yo?

It's not a contraction... it's just that kind of things that people use to make up, and teenagers are quite inventive... so it's just came up at some place and wasspreaded.

"Yop", used presumably as a response to "who did ...." answer "yop". Can anyone confirm please. Like "sip" (= si pues) a probable contraction of "yo pues".
