Can anyone translate 'Rayando el Sol' to English please?
The words Rayando el sol in this beautiful song by maná link text
seem hard to translate nicely to English. I have found 'scratching the sun' and 'reaching for the sun' elsewhere; to me the second option seems best.

Rayando el sol means the breaking of dawn. then the next line rayando por ti means rising for you.
A nice way to say al atardecer.

rayar can be to break like rayar el día = daybreak
Pretty sure that Rayando el sol is most like the person who compared it to atardecer (dusk or getting dark)......I believe it is intended to be "sunset" The sun is setting....You are getting dark.....the metaphor is the day dying and their love dying...or both are fading, getting dark....he is losing her
