Hay forma de aprender un idioma naturalmente?

Me refiero a que si hay algunas forma de hablar y escribir en un idioma ajeno al propio, sin la necesidad de estudiar toda la gramática.

Algo así como lo hacen los niños, aprendiendo a través de la experiencia.

Basically, the answer is, "no". Unless you believe in reincarnation, you can never re-experience learning a "first" language (as does a child). A child has no language background (no notion of what is correct/incorrect [much less, why]). A child is simply exposed to a huge number of utterances and told that some of them are correct and some are not. No explanation is given as to why some are correct and some not. The child has to figure out the "grammar" without the assistance of any formal explanation (it may be reasonably argued that small children are incapable of the degree of "abstract" reasoning that would permit them to understand "formal" grammar).

When approaching a second (third, etc.) language you (anyone) carry with you the experience of what you have already learned about language. You now know that there are recurrent patterns of speech (construction) and you will seek similar patterns in this new language. When you encounter patterns but they are different you will probably ask "Why don't you say ..." (meaning, "Why are these patterns different from those of my first language?").

Studying grammar may help you to better understand the patterns in your own (or some other) language but (depending on the language), it may not. Your reaction may be "Well, it's sort of like when we say ..." (and that may help you to remember) but it may also be "It's sort of like but different. What's wrong with these people?"

Claro que sí, hay. Vivir en el país en donde se habla tal idioma, pero sin aprender la gramática, se producirá errores de vez en cuando mientras uno habla y escribe.

Estoy de acuerdo con Julian. Cuando se aprende un idioma solamente por escuchar a la gente alrededor de usted, va a incorporar los errores que comenten. No todos los hablantes nativos (en cualquier idioma) van a hablar bien.

I agree with Julian. When learning a language only by listening to the people around you, you will incorporate the mistakes that they make. Not all native speakers (in any language) are going to speak well.
