People in South Texas pronounce ajuera instead of afuera and I don't think its a wrong prounounciation, its just a different dialect!!! Don't you agree? In some parts of Argentina its also pronounced ajuera

Ajuera me parece que es una palabra portuguesa. No creo que "ajuera" es correcto (y'all y ain't no son correctos en inglés sino la gente aun los dice). Creo que viene de ser mal educado. Como en inglés, la manera en que uno habla, marca su nivel de educación y su clase social. Si quieres saber más sobre este tema, es mejor consultar con un lingüista o buscar en Google pautas lingüistcas en ciertas regiones de México.

I have heard little kids say this in Mexico City. It's wrong; they just haven't learned the correct word yet. Just like Juistes, Comistes, etc. Most kids learn the correct way by age 6 or 7, if they haven't spoken it correctly from the beginning.

I think it's just that there's a slightly different pronunciation, just like in Spain, z, ci, and ce are pronounced like 'th' even though it's the same word. I think it's safe to say that afuera = ajuera
