Options - hot or newest

Question

I don't want "Hot" Answers, I want "Newest". I don't want to have to change my preference every single time I go back to Answers. Can I set a preference? How?

Hot should not become hot until a certain number of answers are posted else it sends the good posts down the trash and they never get to be seen. Instead we have to read "how do I say...what is my name", "how do I say haha" and even worse.

No, it cannot be changed.

Actually it was implemented this way because I noticed this.

New answer does not automatically boost the thread to first page

You cannot change this individually, you can click on newest, only possibility.
