Depende de lo que sea, no te perdonaré
Depending on what it is, I won't forgive you. What a wierd sentence, seems like I won't forgive you is a statement, how can it depend on what it is? Gracias. It's about if he hurt some girl or not.

For the English translation, try throwing a modal auxiliary in there to see if it might help you get a better sense of the "uncertainty/hypothetical aspect" inherent to the statement. Recognize that with the subjunctive, there is uncertainty, so this is not a declarative statement which states that something is but rather that something might/could be.
Depending on what it might be, I won't forgive you.
This is somewhat analogous to the way that a subjunctive "if statement" is sometimes used in English:
If it were something really bad, I wouldn't forgive you.
In both cases, there is no actual declaration being made as to what it is, instead there is a degree of uncertainty which lends itself to the subjunctive mood.
I think it makes sense.
Person A: I did something bad. Don't be mad. Person B: It can't be that bad. Person A: It's really really bad. What if you don't forgive me. Person B: Well, depending on what it is, I won't forgive you, but I'm sure it's not that bad.
I'm scratching my head too. It's got to be a mistake.
In Mexico, it's more common to say, Sea lo que sea, no te perdonaré - even among women.
Makes perfect sense to me...takes a woman I guess:p
jeez, your translation is correct..
I think it means No matter what, I won't forgive you.
