How would this best be translated?

Sería extraordinario que el mismo día en que Quien-usted-sabe parece haber desaparecido al fin, los muggles lo descubran todo sobre nosotros.

&

Como le decía, aunque Quien-usted-sabe se haya ido.

thx!

Are you looking for "you know who" as in both of you know the name, but are not using it?

As he/she was saying, although you know who had left.

Not at all sure about this Petirrojo! smile

Yes, I think you have it absolutely right. I thought everyone had ready Harry Potter by now.... - Gekkosan, May 13, 2010
Well I guess so, you-know-who Is what I thought, but I wanted confirmation ;-) - Petirrojo, May 13, 2010
Alas, I have only read the first one. - Delores--Lindsey, May 13, 2010

You know, one of the reasons I've never felt comfortable reading Harry Potter in Spanish is precisely that darned "Quien-usted-sabe". It sounds so awkward! I'm sure that the translator must have sweated that one a lot, before finally deciding to leave it. tongue laugh
