How does one say "diamondback" in Spanish?

I would like to know how to say "diamondback" (as in "diamondback rattlesnake") in Spanish. Is there a common name in Spanish for this species?

"Cascabel Diamante" or "Cascabel de Diamante".

You cannot use "rombos" for the simple reason that nobody would know what you are talking about. There is a known, standard name for that animal, and it is "Cascabel de Diamante". You cannot say "Cinderalla Bear" instead of "Grizzly" for the same reason! - Gekkosan, May 13, 2010
