"Morir en tu piel..."

¡Hola!

Después de estudiar español por siete años, miro (por fin) una telenovela por primera vez:Más sabe el diablo. Hay unas letras del tema que no entiendo: "Es mi condena, morir en tu piel...".

"It's my sentence to die in/on your skin"???

Its poetry! I guess in spanish when you say "piel" everybody understands it´s talking about primary feelings. Like "mi novio y yo tenemos mucha piel" it means they have chemistry. Or "No me gusta esa chica, es una cuestión de piel" like you just can´t stand her, it´s not rational, it just happens.

So I think it means something like "to die loving you" or something like that...
