Guajolote (huexolotl) is how aztecs and another natives from mexico called them after aztecs introduce the guajolotes to the turkish they went back to europe and introduce the guajolotes as "turkey cook or turkey bird" but the guajolotes or "turkey" were domesticated first by Aztecs.....this hapen before spanish people arrived to Mexicooo.
