From Costa Rica.

Una entrevista debe detenerse si el niño esta muy molesto.

Le pregunté a mi vecino lo que era correcto.

I do not like either of your choices. Neither "trastornado" nor "angustiado" have the right touch and feel for me.

May I suggest "agitated" which may be said as "inquieto(a)" or "agitado(a)". They just feel and sound more appropriate to my ear.

Right or wrong, I'd use "trastornado" more for your stomach than for your head. Hence, in this case, I go for "angustiado".
