Letra: Que bonito que te va cuando te va bonito

Letra: Que bonito que te va cuando te va bonito

Aside from being a great song, "Bonito" de Jarabe de Palo includes the following letra:

Que bonito que te va cuando te va bonito

Which of the 2 user supplied translations do think is most accurate?

  1. How beautiful everything goes for you when it’s going beautifully for you
  2. How beautiful things can be, when you let them be beautiful

Muchas gracias, mis amigos.

I like the 1st one because of "va" = "go" - lagartijaverde, May 12, 2010

The first one looks to be a closer word for word translation but I prefer the sentiment in the second. I was hoping someone would post on here that idiomatically the second was a better translation. sigh

Oh - but no, the second version is not correct. It does not mean the same thing, anyway. - Gekkosan, May 12, 2010

I agree with Birdland. If it makes sense to you in English, then the first option is great.
