Está comenzando - It is starting.
If there were just a couple of seconds between your first line and the second line, by the time I got this submitted, he would no longer be on the verge of starting - he would have started! - and if it was a short thing he was doing, he's probably finished it by now....I'm such a s-l-o-w typist!

Hmmm.. Well a show was starting and the subs said something like "Ok, este programa esta por comenzar" when it was starting. I see, por comenzar is like about to start then, which means about the same. Gracias.
