El Pantera -T.V.
Anyone seen the television series El Pantera? Curious if it is worth my time obtaining and watching...

Ahem . . . I know this is an old thread, but having happened by this thread after watching an episode of El Pantera, last night, I have to offer a comment, which is:
Not wanting at all to be disagreeable with anyone who's offered a previous opinion, I have to say the series is extremely fast-paced and even more extremely violent. In fact, it may be the most violent TV series I've seen in 65 or so years (Hmmm...does that qualify me for the "older folk" set here?) and, as such, it is probably a notch or so above such Northamerican fare as The Shield on the violence scale. Definitely adult for that and other reasons. Once you get beyond the suspension of disbelief necessary for some of the outlandish sequences rooted in comic-book fantasy, however, it's actually very well done and provides a change of pace from typical Telenovela themes.
At least in my market (Texas), it is currently being run by Univision, late-night, on weekends.
Boring, it is not.
Okay, so it's boring to a teenage,r but how about the "older" folks here on SD? Would we like the show?
