In spanish what is the correct definite article using the word libro ?

Hi and welcome to the forum.
"Libro" is a masculine noun, so you need "el" before it.
"El libro" = the book.
Hint: If you look up a word in the dictionary it tells you whether it's feminine (use the definite article "la") or masculine (use the word "el")
