There is a video 3.11 or 3.12 or .13 in which Profesora Paralee explains it really well. its basically like " They say " in english.. u literally use "se" or "sayraspberry" or kind of an Instruction. Your examples are like "No smoking", " cannot park here "

Basically Se refers to an unknown entity ( its in the video ) the sign or the person is saying that "You cannot park here" , but since its unknown who is "you", they use SE.

I'll break it down for how an English speaker should understand it . ur actions are conjugated in the 3rd person singular but the signs (or impersonal expression maker )are referring to all people. since the Ellos pronoun form is "los/les" .they use SE . Now the reason why its in singular is that WHILE ur referring to many people impersonally , It'll be one person committing the action ( like smoking , parking , using SE " ). So your basically referring to El/Ella with a singular conugation and Ellos with SE .

That's how I understand it.

it is there for reflexive use which means the action returns back to the doer of the action, in other words the subject. but i guess you already know that.

Your examples are correct...good job.

I'm not really sure, however, about this sentence "Corred por favor mi declaración si veis las faltas." Let's wait for someone else to come along and correct it, if necessary.

Thanks :) Me parece que "corred" es imperativo del pronombre personal "vosotros". - Vitgryfny, MAY 10, 2010
