What could "Norvento" stand for in Spain Spanish
Curious if this company name means something or derives from several words in Spanish (Spain vs. LA)

Write to the CEO - he may know the answer.
However, it seems that Norvento began in Galicia which is a distinctly Northern part of Spain and most of its business is installing wind turbines so this gives "norte viento" which can easily be contracted to "Norvento". Without the "i" it's easier for the international community which it serves to spell and pronounce it.
This is supported guesswork; I did look them up to discover where they're from and all that stuff.
Hello and welcome to the forum. The last part (vento) sounds a bit like venta, which means 'sale' (as in 'the act of selling' not 'when things are chap'). The whole word sounds like noventa, which is Spanish for 'ninety'.
