Proof Reading- using indirect and direct object pronouns together

Hello all!

As stated, I'm trying to get the hang of using indirect and direct object pronouns together. Would anyone mind taking a look at these 5 sentences and telling me what corrections I need to make? (Note: These are answers to a set of questions I was asked, and I have to answer them in context.) Thanks in advance!

  1. La policía nos las dan muchos problemas.
  2. Nuestros padres nos los dan consejos constantemente.

The problem with each sentence is that you are reusing the actual direct object phrase with the direct object pronoun.

You should be dropping the original direct object out. I bolded what should be removed.
