I'm not sure how to translate "torsion".

Example sentence, "Senti un torsion en mi espalda".

I felt a torsion/twisting in my back.

Hmm, torsion is not a word, maybe torcedura, but I guess this is what they wanted to say.

torsión.

(Del lat. tors?o, -?nis).

  1. f. Acción y efecto de torcer o torcerse algo en forma helicoidal.

  2. f. ant. Torozón de los animales cuando padecen enteritis.

You can't trust anything the natives say. What do they know of Spanish? :-) - 0074b507, May 9, 2010

"torsión" is in this dictionary.

I know, I had seen that too, but it is not a word that will be understood. Torcedura is what is said, maybe torsión is a tecnical word, who knows.

Yes, I found it, I had to look for it, it is a technical word. Quentin, if you knew what it meant, you might have added this for uswink And you might also have added that it has nothing at all to do with twisting your back.

Kmeza, You have to unaccept the accepted post. It is not correct in your context.
