Weekend Thought

Question

I am not too sure how well this translates into Spanish but here goes.

There are two excellent theories for arguing with women. Unfortunately neither one works.

Hay dos teorías excelentes para discutir con las mujeres. Por desgracia, ninguna tiene buen resultado.

No hay una única traducción correcta. En español habría distintas respuestas que se traducirían como expones.

'ninguna tendría efecto', 'ninguna funciona' o 'ninguna da resultado' serían traducciones correctas de 'neither one works'.

Personalmente, creo que la traducción más literal es la de 'ninguna funciona'.

Tu frase está bien pero en lugar de "ninguna tiene buen resultad" se puede decir "ninguna surte efecto" con sencillez, o "no tiene efecto" a más.

PS - does Spanish not distinguish between Argument and Discussion?
