Correction help?

Hi, I'm working on a project for class. My teacher made corrections, but I can't figure out what's wrong...This project's due on Wednesday, so I'm just trying to finish.

Here's what she says is wrong. bold means she hilighted it.

El problema ambiental que he investigando es la preservación de las playas y océanos.

Recomiendo que nos reciclemos más.

Las raíces de los árboles están expuestos debido a la erosión de las playas.

In the first sentence you used the gerund investigando where you need the past participle investigado.

I think the problem with the second sentence is that reciclar isn't supposed to be reflexive, but that's just a guess. Do we recycle ourselves?

In the third sentence, the "o" of expuestos should be changed to an "a" because it's describing las raíces that are feminine.

That's the correct way of saying it.

I don't think that Montydog intended to say "no" in the sentence you corrected to be: Recomiendo que "no" recliclemos mas. - Pajaro44, May 9, 2010
