is the word for a female model the same as it is for a male - modelo? or would the o change to an a and be modela?

For example if i wanted to say "my model's name is Sarah." would i use modelo or modela since it is a female. in spanish class we made paper people and we are using them as clothes models

i think modelo can be used for both masc and fem so yes you can say la modelo
