cuanto mides equivalent to ¿how tall are you?, interrogative question,...
answers: i´m 6 feet or 1,80 meters or somethin else...

There was a theme about sizes yesterday or thereabouts and someone suggested that you might be cautious asking a guy about his measurements.
On the other hand, I remember asking a young man exactly this "cuanto mide" (a few years ago now and less use of "tu") with no offence. He was about 1.92m so he was probably used to being asked. It was somewhere in Castille so far as I recall where the average man's height was a good deal less. "Como mi abuelo" I said and we all had a smile about it.
