Artery wall: la pared de la arteria?

Hi,

Does anyone know the correct way to say "artery wall"? Is this the same as English, "la pared de la arteria"?

I am preparing to take a medical interpreter exam in a few months, any help with this is appreciated!

Could it be that both are correct?

La pared de la arteria: the wall of the artery

La pared arterial: the arterial wall

Yes I believe that you are correct. However 'pared arterial' is much less wordy an may well be the term favoured by doctors/surgeons when talking to colleagues - FELIZ77, May 8, 2010
