Do I need to put "el" on dates? for example,

when I say, "I arrive on March 3.", should I say, "Llego un el tres de Marzo."?

Yes, but did you mean "en"; not "un"?

Omit them both and write:

Llego el tres de marzo. (Spanish doesn't capitalize months unless they are headings.)

Thank you and it was a typo mistake. So we put an definite article in front of the dates. Llego el tres de marzo. Thank you for the advice. ¡Gracias!

A lot of times the definite article with days of the week translates to "on". You don't write "en" Voy a hacerlo el lunes. I'm going to do it on Monday. - 0074b507, May 8, 2010
